S.w.e.e.t has Never Taste Sweeter

R was sending me home last night, when i started coughing. Though its just 100 metres away from my house, Super sweet R stopped at the nearest petrol kiosk to buy me Nin Jiom Herbal Candy Super Mint.

Sweet has never taste sweeter....

The mentha oil not only soothes my throat, it soothes my heart too...spreading its sweetness down to every valve, coating every single cell n tissues till it reach my pumping pink heart. (why its pink n not red??? coz pink makes me sound cuter!!)

Started using my birthday present le, my Guess wallet. Feel quite nostalgic lookin at it though, reminds mi of my previous Guess wallet..I have love my Gold guess wallet and have been using it for a long time untill it kena kidnapped by nasty robbers whom break into my previous work place office. Haiz...i have never seen it since.

*Sobz*

Have been using the Coach wristlet for so long, it feels really good to switch back to a small wallet. Its so handy. I am beginning to find my wristlet bulky and unsightly. Thanks Lynne once again :)

Muar Trip was fun.fun.fun

Finally feelin better, now a recall of what happen in the past few days.

Good...

Actually its Great!!

Looking on the positive side, it was tremendous weekend. Reach Muar, Malaysia at about 1 a.m, though feeling sleepy, we were welcomed with good food. Crabs! Chicken!! Satay!!Drinks!!though they r cold already but they still taste good. And of course the presence of 2 cute dogs makes us feel even more high. Sweelee's golden retriever and Shit Tzu was simply too cute for words, the golden retriver even chew on my hand :)

i dunno y but i simply love to have dogs pretend to chew on my hand coz i find them so cute when doin it. The shih tzu was such a cuddly pile of wussie doggie, so much fur so flat nose and so round so black eyes. Hee...a pity it is always sleepy, like a 3 month old baby.

Slept at 3 plus in the morning, woke up at 6 plus and there we go, preparing ourselves for the wedding.

--Our Jie Mei clothes

Everything was over at about 2pm, and we dragged our tired, dehydrated and sun-scorched bodies back to the Sabah Resort. The resort was very quiet and is right beside the Sabah lake, it was very much like the resort than R and i had stayed in previously, with greenary all around us, the walls are done up in old oriental style.

Ok this is gettin boring, i am so so not gonna blog abt all the mushy mushy its so great kinda stuff, so anyway me being the usual cuckoo bird, embark on my journey to Muar with my pink Samsung camera, only to realise that i DID NOT bring the memory card, and being a cuckoo bird, i ASSUME that a lousy camera like mine most definately will NOT have any built in memory, so i end up not being able to take pictures and being sick too, i look rather deflated half the time. But of course my deflated self is only seen indoors, i will never bring myself to look even the least bit unhappy in front of the bride.

So its only when i reach the resort, i tried switching on my pink Camera n wah las~~it can work!! Turns out yeah my camera does have a little built in memory and can last for about 30 over low resol shots.

YIPPEEE!!!!!!

After the wedding was over i still had 20 over shots left. And so it begins my cam-whoring session with Miss Gan.

We are crazy, hahaha.

Sweelee was a darling, she join us for supper immed after her wedding. i think she at most only have time to quickly chop chop remove make up n bathe and zoom down to meet us at the resort. She could have just go ahead n sleep but she didn't. Great Host.

And not only that, she brought us mini fire works!!! I dun really know the correct name for them but there are 2 versions. The one i played with is this big big joss stick like stuff whereby after u lit them up they will shoot real high into the sky, about 5-7 metres, and explode into fireworks. And the stick will just keeps on poppin by itself, shooting out new pellets of fireworks every 5 seconds, and with everyone shootin fireworks, it was brilliant!!!

There is another version, named Dragon Egg, 'Long Dan', it is really small, and when u lit it, u have to threw it real far and high so that it burst and explode into many fireworks before it touch the ground, n in our case, before it touch the waters. It was very exciting.

But from the looks of it, i can understand why Singaopore government are banning such items here, though it seems real fun, but its pretty obvious how dangerous it can be when it falls into the wrong hands.

i am s.i.c.k

Back in Singapore yeahh!!!

Kinda miss Singapore. Everytime i go overseas to such countries, i always came back feeling glad that Singapore is a small country with retail shops, shopping centres n human beings at almost every corner.

Came back sick...wasn't really feeling well in the first place since thursday, the nodes are back.

Cough--check
Phlegm--check
Fever--check
Cold--check

So all sysmptoms has shown and u knw wat, im not gonna visit the doctor, coz i am super sure i will hear the same ole diagnosis from Mr Doc. Virus infection..some kinda infection...blar blar...im gonna self-medicate with my sis's medicine n snuggle under my blankets n pray that its gonna be a good day tomorrow.:)

I jus hope i can hang on till the F1 race is over, than i can sleep in peace. Seeing the pitstop blunder that F Massa has gotten into, it makes the rest of the race seems even more exciting, Hamilton hasn't catch up in the first position yet. Can't wait to see if any other excitment comes up.

Gonna update abt the wedding when i feel better.

Never good bus ride

ARGHHHH!!!!! I have been a typical bus/mrt taking Singaporean gal all my life, but recent years the development of my brain, and transport system is making me dislike taking public transport more n more each day.

I have no idea is it just me becoming more n more cynical, but I feel that I face ugly commuters almost everyday. I had to take 3 buses before I can reach my office everyday. I dun mind taking 3 buses actually, I dun even mind walking a long distance to work everyday, it keeps me trim

(*smile*)

BUT I hate the commuters. Things I have to endure almost everyday.

#1. Noisy Bangladeshi/China/Indian (ok to be fair, there is Singaporeans aunties n cao ah beng sometimes) riders whom talk loudly on their mobile handphone, early early in the morning they talk like as if they r still in the大哥大days. As if ppl wanna listen to their conversation, their voice(esp the bangla ones, grr…) r blocked all the news broadcast of channelnews asia on tvmobile. Yes I can’t hear my favourite Melanie Oliverio movie reviews. Wanna Kick em.

#2. China men whom blast their mobile phone mp3 player in the bus. Hello~~ if they play Pussycat dolls or Jay Zhou still can accept, but they play those lousy china songs from wat seems to me like from some lousy China singer. Hey some things r not meant to be shared. Seng ki lai pls~

#3 you happen to WALK to the EXIT as u r alighting at the next stop, an auntie/uncle will just chuck their chubby hands out in front of u, their bags will hit u at ur side, and before u know it this is what will happen

Scenario 1 – THEY WILL SHOVE U TO UR SIDE OR EVEN PUSH U, JUST SO THEY CAN SCAN THEIR EZLINK CARDS. ALL THESE WHEN THE BUS HAS NOT STOPPED N HAS NOT REACH THEIR STOP. (n wats worse is, after scanning they will continue holding on to their ezlink cards in their hands, so all the more it makes u wonder then y so kan cheong scan!!!???)

Scenario 2 - THEY WILL LUP THEIR BIG BAGS OVER UR HANDS, SHOVE U TO THE SIDE N AFTER SCANNING THEIR BAGS THEY WILL STAND ON THE SPOT TRIUMPHANTLY.(Of course, they r worse ones that will really push u hard or say ‘scuse mi scuse mi; in a hostile manner. As if u owe them something. )

ALL THIS FOR THE SAKE OF BEING THE FIRST TO ALIGHT/SCAN THEIR BLARDY EZLINK CARDS.

I really wonder sometimes, does it really matters so much to be the first to alight. You may think, haiya~ maybe they dunno u wanna alight n u seem to be blocking them ma, but HELLO~~bus so small I walk to the exit door ley, quite obvious rite, than so kan cheong scan card for wat, sometimes I suspect their brains tells them that by scanning their card earlier by dat 5 miserable seconds it will make that particular trip so much cheaper.

Grrr… GRrr… GRRr……

Going to Malaysia~~

Thank you dear lynn for sharin on how to create the comments box for my blog. Muack. Im goin Malaysia tonight, going Muar again, but this time round, its for an exciting basketball match, but its for an exciting wedding, exciting?? because im gonna be the jie mei, so when im around, of course its gonna be exciting.

No more pimples! Yeah rite

Arrgghhh....Totally hate pimples!!!!

For the past few days, actually weeks, no no its months, at least 2 months okay. I have this 2-3 small pimples that keep eruptin near the tip of my eyebrow and also underneath the eyebrow, the tail there. U know how we gals usually draw the tail really thin n sleek so that it looks chio, CB!! This stupid pimple has been there for like 2 months, n its preventin me from drawing a nice eyebrow #%$#CB!!! I tried buyin a brand new eye pencil thinkin my old one mus have been contaminated, but still no use.

It is damn disgusting lor, the pimples dun like appear as a loner but they usually pop up in gangs of 2 or 3, like i have some kind of disease lidat. Basket, no wonder R hasn't been givin me a kiss when i look intently into his eyes recently, mus have turn him off straight.

The whole phrase jus keeps repeating.
Pimple get red, than goin ripe soon, than lastly harden than i use my finger to scratch it out. The skin ard it ALWAYS appears smooth (but still gt red bump lar of course ) but after 2 days, start the whole stupid reproduction process or what i call 成長過程.

Point to note, i can't squuze it out when its half-ripe, i can only scratch it when its dried up as its at the eyebrow area n that area has little skin for me to pull against n i certainly dun wan pimples.

I have tried Ginvera pimple gel, no use, my bf's Himalaya's anti-acne gel once(its gd but i dun meet him everyday)Place deep mud mask on it also no use.... Oh God~~~Help~~~~

Sweet Email from my Sweetest one

Came across this while tryin to clear my email today. Simply love it. If only i can receive such emails everyday. Oh Please envy me. La~~la~~La~~

Love ya Bertie

Milk, Melamine, Toxic

Have been receiving many many sms that tells me the same thing THE WHOLE DAY OF YESTERDAY. Received about 7 so far, and another 1 more today. Though I do feel extremely touched, well-loved n well-remembered by friends, it does gets kinda sick, receiving the same thing the whole day, and yet not a single one of them is sent by MY BOYFRIEND!!!

I have yet to forward it to much people, so i guess i could start of doing my part in warning my beloved blogger friends by pasting it here. I even make it with a nice background so as to increase recall rate.(So nice rite, bow)

Actually, with all the hoo-haa going on about milk, i wonder for a moment, what happen to the fashion retailer PureMilk, whose famous tagline of 'Milk makes you drunk' makes them popular among kids. Will their parents stopped their kids from wearing their clothes from now on....Ok im lame...brr..not funny...i know....

I read Yahoo News this morning and it turns out even Rabbit sweets is toxicated with melamin, i muz have been toxidised since young, which probably explains y i never seem to grow tall.

FriDay Nite Woo~Hoo~

Nothin beats having good company on a Friday Nite.

I have heard of club-hopping is fun but restaurant-hopping is equally fun, went to meet up with the gals last night to celebrate Seph & Michelle's birthday.

I think i am blessed in a ratherly weird way, God bless me with the gift of never losing my way when im out, but somehow that blessings doesn't seems to tag along the gift of time-saving. Though i always manage to find my way in locating the meeting place when meetin my friends, i never seem to be able to avoid the fate of walking.

Took a bus to Marine Parade Road in my attempt to reach East Coast Park, my clever thinkin brings me to alight at Opp Mandarin Gardens as i knew that East Coast is somehow near there. I ask a dog-owner along the way and manage to locate the path leading to the underground tunnel that leads to East Coast.

OHH!!! It does leads to East Coast,

right,

it leads to Island Resort Singapore which IS Located at East Coast but my FINAL DESTINATION IS AT MACDONALDS!

Walked for about 30minutes in total before i finally reached MacDonalds. Almost dieded. Well but the walk along East Coast Beach leadin to Mac really aids in calming myself, the breeze was cooling and strong. Such breeze is great from taking meself away from the thoughts of situations i dun like to face, people whom i dun like to see and stuff that i dun wanna do. Its just good.

I saw 2 skaters skating with their dogs on leash. Ha-Ha but for both dogs, they ended up panting n their owners had to carry them while continuing skating. Lousy dogs...

Sat with them at Macdonalds for a short while before we proceed to Kenny Rogers for a nice dinner. Without Michelle, it was an unanimous vote for Kenny Rogers over C-Nai Hong Kong Cafe.

I have mixed comments towards Kenny Rogers, thumbs up for their service and not for their salt-immersed food. The place is self-service concept and all the customers infront of me had to self-carry their food tray back to their table but for no particular reason, the waiter actually took my food tray from me and follow me back to the table. I was so elated, feel so honoured. Well i did return the waiter's favour with a heart-felt thanks tag along with my most stunning brilliant toothsie smile.

Except for Seph, none of us could down all the food down our throat. The gravy on my Chicken Pita was so salty even June GaG~ when she tasted my food. Junyi's (totally dislike the similarity in his name) Chicken Pot and Jianwen's Ribs wasn't doin any better either. But this is the first time i came across a guy like Junyi who actually has a really tiny appetitite.

Michelle was fantastic, though she was at her own birthday celebration dinner elsewhere, she still rush down to join us. We went to C-Nai Hong Kong cafe for the 'cake-cutting' and started our full round of photo-taking, i think we are like the most happening group in the whole restaurant. Our presence attracted the eyes of almost all patrons. The couple seated beside our table keep throwing us her irritated look when we are taking pictures n laughin among ourselves. What can i say, i can practically see through her irritated eyes and see it turn green. Detest such green-eye monster.

Junyi & Jianwen, The special guest

Michelle n her beau

We skipped back to macdonalds after our dinner and stayed at Mac for a mere one minute before we decide we had enough of the smellyness of the drain and the irritating baby cries, we hopped over to Cofee Bean, where we settled ourselves down comfortably.

There wasn't much people in the joint and we are able to sit down and chat without buying any drinks. Haha i know it sounds cheap-skate but hey our tummies r full.

I manage to reach home in time to watch my Chinese Love Story on Channel 8. Looking forward to tonight's dinner.

Dun talk to me abt marriage now, its a dirty word, taboo, shoo shoo go away

Yippee My SoNy VAiO is back

YEAH!!!! My Sony Vaio company laptop has finally revived. Missed staring at the nice wallpaper of Baby & I.

Many Thanks to the best best kind-hearted IT technician Mr Ron. Wherever u r, may God bless your kind soul forever n ever n ever. Amen.

My Sony Vaio has been givin me problems a few months back, n i was stuck with a lousy HP lappie that is so so slow, cannot bluetooth, looks super uncool, is heavy n has stupid buttons on the side of the screen.

The keypad 'H' on my VAIo was stuck, n everytime i switch it on, the letter H would be all the places. After checkin by Mr Ron, turns out its a simple job, he pressed it down hard on my keypad H to 'dislodge' this coagulated water droplet(which was accidentally spilled by me, OPS!)

After 20 seconds and it was done. My laptop is back. And the super nice MR Ron DID NOT charge me a single cent for his service. Its a small job he said.

well im very sure if its someone else they would definately charge me the standard $30-40 service charge n if its at Sony Service Centre, the one-time checking fee is $120. Offered to pay for the transport cost, but he refused it too. Super nice right.

Shall post his number tomorrow, should anyone need laptop repairs, please do go for him, after this experience, he is definately one honest technician which deserves my trust n support.

As promised, here is Mr Ron's number, 81892756

Why

Why can't u understand me too?

Why can't u spare a thought for mi too?

Why can't u let me live my dream?

Why have u stop trying to reach my inner thoughts?

Everything is about you,

Everything is about you,

Everything is about you, you, you,

me, im just a permanent negative sign in ur bank balance.

Why are we always talking about plans, talking abt future, talking about our goal yet the more we talk, the further we drifted apart....

I want just 3 years, just 3 years. Is it really too much to ask for?

When will u start reading my blog?

Wedding Bells are ringing so near yet so far~~~

Had a delightful breakfast today, ate wedding cakes distributed by my colleague SL. Feel so excited when i see the piles of boxes of wedding cakes in her room. The wedding vibes is totally in the air, SL is growing more radiant each day, though she does whine a little about being tired, but i can feel her positivity, can feel her excitement in having her big day soon.

*GoSh when is my Turn???~~~*

Gonna go Malaysia next week to be one of her Jie-Mei, so excited. First time in my life to be someone's Jie-Mei. Oooo....And im gonna be a Jie-Mei again next year. Two times somemore. Gonna be Jie-Mei for my good ole pal Candice, jus receive her invitation this morning, OMIGOD!!!!

And of course im definately gonna be Jie-Mei for my own sister's wedding next year. Both falls on Jan 09, oh god, hope they dun clash, waiting for my sis to be back home any seconds now, have to ask her when is her exact confirmed date.

MAMA MIA

MAMA MIA WAS SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!!!!

Just watched it with R, FOUR thumbs up for this movie musical. (mine n R's)

The ABBA's music blended very well into the story, and its fantastic for musical lovers. Can't help but compare it with the recent 12 Lotus. I no longer wanted to comment much abt 12 Lotus, can only say, in terms of the musical part, 12 Lotus is Phui!!

MAMA MIA makes u feel like dancing, feels like singing after watching it, it makes u float n smile, it makes u feel totally in love, haha im a little carried over.

XiaXue!!

Went to Xiaxue's party at thumpers on Saturday night, AHH.... reach too late, no choice, i had to go to Wen Qing's chalet. Though i took cab n cheong from Boon Lay all the way down to Thumpers, still i was a little too late. By the time i reach, not much crowd can be seen already. Think the party must have ended.

*SADZZ*

But still i managed to take a picture with my all time favourite Blogger XiaXue.YEAH!! Shall post it up once i gotten the pics from Miss P.

Xiaxue looks so slim, and tiny, its incredible, i have always thot she is a little chubby. But no she is not, she looks wayyyy slimmer than how she appears on youtube n clicknetworktv. Not to forget, she is very friendly too, i didn't really talk much to her, but she is very very nice when i ask her for a picture.

Spent the whole of Sunday watchin Taiwan Drama, Hot Shot. Its starrin Jerry Yan n Luo Zhi Xiang. Felt disappointed actually at the story plot, as its a total rip off the famous comic SlamDunk. But they acted well, so still not so bad. Baby and i cheong thru the show, watchin it from 1.30pm to 10.45pm, we r so so tired now...

Esplanade~~the place to unwind

Had a date with a gorgeous babe last week, hahaha. Yeah we practically dated, had an extremely romantic evening.(Hee. R, u knw i love u.)Though its a weekday, there was a good crowd at the esplanade.

Missed a symphonic band performance as we were really hungry. Had a light yet hearty dinner at this new restaurant 'The Stock Pot' at the esplanade. It is situated just opposite Harry's Bar. The restaurant had a concept that is alike The Soup Spoon, with a small varieties of soup and salad and sandwiches.

The food was pretty average but i do had a thing to say abt their service.

When we walk in, the place was almost empty, with just 1 couple sittin at one end of the restaurant.None of the staff greeted us, im nt kiddin, all 4 service staff stood behind the high counter staring at us coldly as we settle into a seat by ourselves uneasily. After about 10 seconds, one female service staff finally emerge from behind the counter n ask us if we need a menu. And guess wat, after i replied yes, she ask mi to go to the counter and that everything is self-service. Grr....than y ask....

After ordering, i was given my avocado salad n told that the soup will be sent to our table. But Guess wat,in the end, the staff called out to me and ask mi to go back to the counter to TAKE MY OWN SOUP!! I swear the restaurant was already TOTALLY EMPTY at this point of time, so i can't see y he had to go against his own words. Made mi totally pissed off.

But June was a good company, we had a good chat about incredible happenings in her life. After dinner, we had a stroll down the river n listen to an outdoor concert that was set up right beside the river. You can feel so relaxed being there, so carefree, its definately a good place to unwind after a day's work.

We had a good long chat sittin by the river, we even witness a small drama, 2 Malay thugs was ambushed by 5-6 plain clothes policemen. The 2 Malay men whom looked like ur average Poly student were sittin about 2 metres away from us when suddenly we heard 'Dun move' and then a group of 5-6 men started to grab the 2 Malay men, June even saw a small Swiss knife being brandished, but eventually we saw the 2 men being pulled to the ground n handcuffed by the plain clothes policemen. The arrested keep muttering malay vulgarities while being taken away. After they have left, the river side resumed its silence n it seems that nothin has ever happen.

My Wedding Ring

First n Foremost, i am not married. yet.

I was goin through some magazines during work, (it is part of my job, envy me, *bow)when i saw an advertorial for my dream ring, The Love Cartier series, i have long imagine the day when i could wear this every single day, i dun mind havin a diamond ring as a proposal ring, but to have the Love Cartier ring as my wedding ring, which means i get to wear it every single day is ULTIMATE BLISS~~

Not sure which one? its the ring in the glass duh~~, Is the picture big enough for u to drool? I am placin it here, so that i can drool on it everyday. Im gonna paste one on my bedside too.

I read in newspapers, many Hollywood Stars wears this, even Jolin Tsai and Luo Zhi Xiang. But they wore the Love bangle, not the ring. Many years back, my favourite idol Ayumi Hamasaki used to wear the ring and bangle in almost all her photoshoots, its like her signature ring, i once bought the imitation Cartier ring on Yahoo Actions, and i wore it for 3 years. Looking at the price on the magazines, the ring cost abt S$3000-$3500, which is quite affordable for a signature Cartier ring.

R has already agreed n promised me the Cartier ring will one day lands nicely on my fingers. Just that we both had no idea when that one day will be. Sigh~~~
