Watched Ip-Man (pronounce Yip Month) last friday with Mr R, had to rush with the preparation of marination of ingredients as the Xmas part with Mich n June is the following day. Lotsa chopping, rolling, marinating, buy ingredient at NTUC and little debate on what to buy and what not to buy.OK I ADMIT , ALMOST ALL WORK WAS DONE BY MR R COZ I WAS WATCHING LITTLE NYONYA. I like to go food shopping with Mr R, gt housewife feel. Hahaha.
Saw a Xmas tree outside Dawson Place NTUC, couldn't resist, SnAp!
We made ourselves busy till its almost 11pm, pack up abit and off we go to Cathay Cinema. It was already close to 12midnight when we are on the road to Cathay, the whole of Orchard is bursting with people, u will hardly believe its close to midnight, there are poeple everywhere. Teenagers skateboarding on the pavement, women in many shopping bags, Couples strolling around, and even students sitting on the sidewalks with their bags strewn on the floor while having a rest. The Beautiful Xmas lights brighten the whole night scene making Orchard Road a very pretty sight indeed.
Ive seen the pics posted by Dawn Yang in her Xmas in New York entry, the lights in the Big City is nothin compare to our Orchard Road, i feel that they look pretty typical and boring actually. No Xmas mood. Mr R refuse to stop to let me take better pics so i can only show the terrible jam that i kena in.
Finally reach The Cathay, see even more people. Its close to midnight liao, yet there is still long queue at the box office, both upstairs and downstairs one.
Finally gotten to watch Donnie Yen. I love this man. He is a REAL MAN, i see his moves in the movie, i like melted liao, his hidden grin and silent smiling eyes make me turn into mashed potato liao. The show was extremely good. Good moves and Good plot. Enjoy the show throughout, the movie portrays the different characters in a very short n sweet way.
