Time for my Sister's wedding. All thanks to the Jie-Meis whom gotten a loud hailer, the our whole block plus the HDB block opposite us now knew that my sister is getting married, and her hubby is gonna iron all her clothes, do all housework for her, love her forever, will always listen to her and put her first in everything, plus of course always allowing her to go shopping....in his Credit Card. haha.

Had Peranakan Cuisine at East Coast Road.(Kim Choo's Kitchen). The place where Little Nyonya film some of its scenes. Heard this place is pretty famous for their Nyonya Chang. I was thrilled when i reach the place, simply love the old traditional look and the wooden stairway.
I didn't know of the names of the dishes that Candice ordered, but im very sure we had Achar and Ayam Pondeh Beluak(is dat hw u spelt it??)The food came pretty slow coz we came during the lunch hours, they even mix-up our reservation numbers, there were 15 of us, but they had prepared only tables for 8, haiz...in the end we had to wait, but also good lar i spend my time walking ard takin pics, immersing myself in the rich Peranakan Culture. As for the food, in my hunger i forgotten to take pics of the food. But they look pretty normal la, like Malay food lor.Taste good, dunno how to describe, u have to eat it urself to know.
The Place is opposite Katong Mall, price is pretty reasonable, like normal Zhi Char's price. I definately wun mind coming back here for another makan session. Friends, wink* wink*, come see ur roots.
Oh and Ya dun get me started on how bloody disappointed i am after seeing the YueNiang & Chen Xi Reunited 3 mins stint. Wasted my 3 mins.Therefore im not gonna even dedicate a new entry for this. I was shopping and strolling around in ChinaTown, was intending to stop and enjoy the GeTai, but rush back to Bert's place just to watch that 3 mins stint. Stupid. Shouldn't have done that, i shld have stayed behind and listen to Bling Bling Gals strutting their stuff at the Getai. I could have help boost the economy more with my spending leh. CCB, make mi so pissed off for the rest of the night.
The 3 min stint was over before i even realised it. It was Meaningless, Pointless,shows nothing but repeated scenes and pure narrations. My Sister is getting Married soon. To be exact. She is getting married tomorrow morning.
How should one felt, when your sister is getting married?
Im happy for her. Very very Happy for her. Seen how in love she is when she's out in the living room watching telly with her fiance, seen her happy look when she is reviewing her photo montague. But dunno y, something just tugged me inside.
I dun really know if im prepared to see her go..Though my second bro got married in the family first. The feeling of losing a sibling is not as strong. Maybe as what they say, hes a guy.
I will get to share senseless jokes...showing her my new clothes or new skincare or make up that i have bought. Though she usually gave me a i-am-not-interested-but-you-may-continue-talk look, i still enjoy talking to her. Maybe becoz im pretty siao. Seeing her look disturbed by my senseless talk make me feel good sometimes, and coz once i start talking i seldom know when to stop. haha.
Though my thoughts and views are almost always on opposite end with hers, i am still very very proud of her, coz she is smart, composed, speak with intelligence, funny in a weird way, attitude with style, has a character and lastly she is pretty and petite just like me. During Chinese New Year, i enjoyed walking side by side with her, coz i think we shine like stars. (Background music: Pretty Women walking down the street~ Pretty Women....Haha.)
Talking with my sis is like using a super good mobile plan. I get excellent talktime. (Coz she seldom answers and i can just go on and on and on...). But this plan is gonna cease with effect from tomorrow.
I bought her a Xmas gift. A silver bracelet carved with Bible verses. I knew this year i had to buy one. Coz i just feel like giving her some stuff that can let her be reminded of her little sister.
I transferred her pile of neatly fold clothes from her bed to her cupboard last night while she is bathing(coz this is about the last thing i can do for her), i knew she really really hope i can wear something green and white for her wedding but as of now i really can't find a suitable piece.So damn angry with myself.
I can't help but feel that once she leave the house after getting married, she is gonna be no different from a hi-bye friend. The Kong household is gonna be somewhat quieter again. Im gonna be sleeping alone in my room, with no one to bother whther or not im home on fridays, no one to bother whether my skirt is too short.
Frankly speaking if im feeling this right now, i can't imagine how my mum feels. Dunno whether i still feel like getting married before 2010.

Finally watched finish the whole Little Nyonya series yesterday, thot there is gonna be a dramatic ending to this well-rated tv series but haiz....watching the last episode left me feeling puzzled at their plot. Well like all other shows, its another one of those kinda shows whereby the script-writer ran out of ideas towards the very end.
Last scene with Felicia Chin wearing the Beaded slippers: Did i see two strands of toe-hairs popping out, damn disgusting can, can't she just shave or wax her toe-hairs before filming this part, camera man stupid go and zoom in somemore.My pic here not obvious, but there was 2 strands actually, though it went pass quite fast but it simply can't hide from my eyes.
I was surprise to see Robert Zhang paying respects to the ancestors, even Bert's brother Ah Boon asked me how come that rapist guy is there. Turns out, after reading sgforums, ya i agree, that guy is the Robert's bastard son not Robert himself.

Now that im better, i shall start on my exciting weekend. Went to be Jie-mei for my pri sch best friend Candice's wedding on Saturday morning. Think im too kan cheong already, her schedule put Jie-mei reach at 9a.m., but i reach at somewhere after 7:30a.m.Her entire household is still sleeping somemore when i reach, wa....paiseh man...wake up her entire family so as to open door for me.

We only manage to 'tekan' the groom for a short while coz we have only less than 30mins for the game session. We asked the groom to knock on 4 neighbours door, take polaroid pic with them, than chop chop go thru the typical 酸甜苦辣 phrase, wanted to force them to wear skirt while singing Jay Zhou's song, but the brothers manage to get away with just lupping the skirt over their arms, coz they say we never specify how we want them to wear. Hahaha oh well, i agree to that point so we let them pass all these tests.
The relatives actually gotten 10 over balloons string up together to simulate firecrackers, i find it quite interesting actually, hahaha. The 'pong pong pong' makes the 接新娘very 熱鬧。
The follwoing day, we went over to Hort Park early in the morning at 9 plus to help with the set up. I was one of the emcee for the day, felt really excited but nt the least kan cheong.Think its becoz ive been to Joseph's wedding the previous night and ive seen how lousy their emcee was and coz of that i felt very much at peace coz i knew i will not be worse than them. haha bhb, i know.
Yup yup, i rush back home to wash up and zoom down straight to attend Joseph's wedding directly after Candice's tea ceromony. Saturday was a very very busy day.

There was a boo-boo during the wedding though, as the solemnization was done outdoor, the AVA crew actually did not prepare any speakers and microphones for outdoor. Everything had to set up last min, and as three of Candice's friends are singing a song for the first march, the Justice of Peace was extremely unhappy we didn't have a mic for him to hold and also he was very unplease that is us the emcees did not utter a single word during the march. But no mic, how to talk! Well but everything still ends well after that, as what Candice say, it is the imperfections during the wedding that makes it memorable. Cheers!!
My nose has been running like tap the whole morning, throat burnt. gotten R to sent an sms to my office inform im on mc. Nose continue to drip...drip while im having breakfast, drip while im on the phone with Starhub customer care technical officer, drip when im climbing down as fast as possible from my double deck bed while im trying desperately to grab my Kleenex.

Once i enter the stupid Raffles Medical clinic.In the end make mi worried doctor maybe wun give me mc, panic sia.
Ever had the kind of feeling, u r terribly sick or perhaps feel a little like dying and then once u step in step out the doctor's room only, u can instantly feel u r feling at least 70% better. Like play game lidat, grab health points lidat than ur red life bar will driu driu become full bar already. Well i felt that. But mine was even earlier. I 'recover' while i was still waiting to enter. Damnit. The doctor didn't even bother telling me whats wrong with me or what he suspect causes my running tap nose or sore throat (actually i know la, its due to my lack of drinking water yesterday), my whole consultation lasted max 3mins.
Told him abt my dripping tap nose, he used a tongue depressor, listen to my heartbeat, than ask mi whether i need a M.C, frankle speaking, i do like this kinda chop chop doctor. But in comparison, it makes mi miss the previous doctor that always attends to me at this clinic. Dr Michael Lee. Dr Lee is more gentle, and is always giving you a 'dun worry i know u r trying to PROVE to me u R REALLY sick' smile. This doctor today on teh hand threw mi a '[another 'keng' mc one] look, he is without smile the whole time.
Though i know, see doctor only, no need ask for so much, but hello, still muz customer service ma, we as patients, when sick, we very 'cui ruo' one u noe.K lar, dun blog liao, head start spinning le, gotta sleep soon.
