Its not a laptop actually, to be exact, its a netbook.

I gotten myself a ACER ASPIRE ONE D250!!

Mine was a cool stunning passionate red. Finally, a computer that i can call my own.
We gotten it at a great deal too, $588, with freebie of optical mouse thrown in.

Its so slim and thin and light. With a screen size of just 10.1" and weighing just 1.1kg, its super handy. The most incredible thing about this cutie is definately its long lasting battery power. It can last up to 7.5 hrs, and ive already tried and tested this at home.

No more scrambling and fighting with students and China kids at macDonalds or Starbucks for the nearest power outlet. Now as for me, I can just stroll into any Wireless SG cafe, find myself a good seat and whip out my netbook and be well-entertain for the next 7.5 HOURS!!!

Frankly speaking i had no idea whats the difference between a NETBOOK, NOTEBOOK, LAPTOP, POCKET PC and i believe perhaps many of u out there doesn't knows too.
So i google up and heres the answer.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NOTEBOOK & NETBOOK
Netbook generally has a screen size of up to 10" from corner to corner. Has a slower processor speed and does not have optical drive. Designed for more basic task such as FB, Twitter, Blog, Checking of emails, Microsoft usage, Video-watching on Youtube and msn. Basically they process less things and as a result,these babies usually has longer battery life and speed. Photoshop and Gaming can be used in netbook but they run much slower.

Plus points of NetBook: Convenience and Speed.

Notebook in general is simply a thinner version of a laptop.has the full feature of a laptop. Thats as simple as it is.

A laptop is well a laptop. Portable computer that sits in your lap.

Pocket PC is somethin really tiny like a remote controller, depending on the brand, some has really strong processing power. It usually cost higher than a netbook.

The minus points of this baby is that, my eyes gets tired easier coz i had to squint my eyes and get accustomed with the small screen, my back ache from bending over. But im sure these problems r gonna be easily solve once i get used to it.

Fusion Dinner @ Holland V

Had a hearty dinner just now. I had a new understanding to the word fusion today.
My dinner was truly a fusion between western and asian. Join R and his friends for dinner at Holland V's Club 211 restaurant. Its an outdoor roof-top restaurant. DBS is having a 1-for-1, so our meal was super value for money.

One main course + drink cost each of us just $15!! Their food taste great and being located at the roof-top, weather felt great and its a perfect place for hangout with friends.

We went to a coffee shop in Ghim Moh to have black pepper, chilli crabs and Prawn paste chicken. Yummy Yum.

Uniqlo

Haha dunno y, just feel like jeering Uniqlo rite now. Im so evil..hiak hiak...
Remember my April 11 Entry on Uniqlo? Haha as expected. The queue outside Uniqlo has TOTALLY DIEDED. The shop has like less than 10 customers when i went in on fri evening.
And its been just 2 months....Singapore, Suuupper competitive man. Many enter, but little survive in this fast-moving retail industry.

Argh~~~ Anyway im like super jaded now lor, i missed out on the Trust Me's event with Wacoal!!! Stupid me lar, too lazy to login or monitor Cozycot for the past few months, didn't even notice Wacoal had an event with CozyCot in the month of April, the event is mainly for the launch of their Ayumi Hamasaki endorse series 'Trust Me' (SEE SEE~ I jus knew they r launching in SG).

Sianzz lor, all the brochures and booklets that contains loads of Ayu's pictures, argh!!!! I want I want lar....

Music played in Cab

Took cab to work today.

I listened to Malay music throughout the journey, despite the fact that i look totally Chinese. Shouldn't all cab drivers be sensitive enough to change the channel at least to an English channel when he saw that his passenger is of other race?

Which then got me thinking,hmm...the cab fare i paid, to what extend does it covers? Just the service of shuttling from Point A to B?

Well from the last reports that ive read,cab companies always likes to justify their escalating cab fares by emphasizing on their amenties like aircon, cleanliness, good service, entertainment like a small tv, better comfort vehicles(more car models modified as cab)and more, so WHY ISN'T RADIO PART OF THE DEAL?

I never speak up to them, as i find it awkward & a little rude to be the one to make the request. But shouldn't cab drivers be more sensitive themselves?

Anyway, im freed once again. Back in the race, shall continue sending resumes. haha maybe God is trying to tell me something.

My Favourite comic (Little Candy) So happy to see its DVD. Thanks Baby! Read the comic book during my primary school days, all thanks to my pri sch bestie Candice and has fallen in love with its plot and the various characters in the story. Definately one of the best i have read.
Its super value lor, $24.90 for full 12 DVDs,115 episodes.

Went KBox Lucky Chinatown with Lil Foot & gals today, great choice venue. as we do not need to squeeze with big crowds. Gal friend intro this lozenges to me. The packaging looks damn hilarious.

Oh My! I look at the old man pic, wah lao, speechless.But this sweet is really pretty good, never judge a lozenge by its wrapper!! Ifelt an immediate cooling sensation rush through my throat, feels shiok.

We went back to tampines1 for lunch at Thai Express. Service at the Tampines1 outlet was superb. Salute the staff for their Great service rendered, it certainly make our meal really pleasant.

Went to Coffee Bean where we had our nice chill out session. It has been so long since our group had a good long chat. Hope we can have this often, instead of the usual patronising birthday celebrations.

My calf is better now, mopiko doesn't works and i resort to using this balm 'Nixoderm' which is great for all insect bites and infections of the skin and scalp. Its super cheap. Cost just $3++ and is available at all leading drugstores and those Ah Neh diam. This was introduced to me by a Malay friend many years back, and i turn to it whenever i had serious pimples that dun respond to my normal acne gel creme. I applied it last night, and the bite red hump on my calf reduced to a small dried up hump the very next day! Im gonna apply it for another day, coz the itchiness is still there sometimes.

New Path

Starting work in a new place in a few hours time, dunno why, but dun really have a good feeling about this...

Attend a friend's father funeral jus now, its scary. Scary coz it suddenly occurs to me im already 25. My parents seem to have aged tremendously.

Had a great time at the photo shoot yesterday, it was really tiring leh, went to 3 locations and had like 3-4 different hair-do, i feel like a model! haha. Dream come true la, to be dolled up and taken pictures by professional photographer. Feeling is just SHiOk!

I really really dislike my lips and bugs bunny teeth la, think it looks super prominent and ugly. And my nose~~argh....no amt of highlights seems to be able to give it a 3-D look. But...haiz...no choice la, my face is not link to my rice bowl anyway....and i read from online that lips lipo is terribly painful. Like slow death..Yikes.

The make-up artist says that my skin was very good and the make-up adheres without the need for much touch up the whole day. Yippee. All thanks to my latest buy - Estee Lauder Hydra Series.




See the beautiful blue cosmetic bag, its free, i like the bag, the material is good and is really roomy for lotsa stuff. Now i just need time to re-organize my dressing table so that i can fully utilize this thing.

To prevent contamination and over-clutter of my fridge space, i transferred small portions over to my Laneige travel size cream jar and used directly from there. But everytime i open the small plastic jar, the contents seems to be lesser than before.
Perhaps the transferring from acrylic jars to plastic jars leads to vaporisation. Creams like this could contain up to 80% water, so vaporisation doesn't comes as a surprise to me.

Im using it sparingly now, and since both Clarins and Laneige last me for 3 mths & above, hope this can last 3mths too, coz its so ex... Really lurve the Estee Lauder Hydra Complete Hydra Eye Gel Creme. It gives a slight warm sensation whenever i patted it on my eye contour area, the same feeling i felt when i tested Bobbi brown eye creme. Hmmm...a good investment made. yeah~~~~

Went to Bali Thai restaurant at Tampines Mall with Miss P last week, the prices are surprisingly low. A set meal that consist of a main course and 2 side dish & a drink cost just $13.90++
For a restaurant that comes with great service and quiet ambience, its fantastic place for couple & friends to hang out.What i dun understand is that why do i seldom see a great turnout at a great restaurant like this??

Ok im back blogging, hanging out at a new location now. Im glad we change places actually, over here there's better wireless connections, less salty fries and most importantly no screaming and over-enthu students.

Read a news article on thursday. An Australian lady Hajnal Ban went through limb lengthening procedure in order to be 8cm taller. In the article, it was stated that doctors had break her legs and attached her limb onto a stretching frame.

Doctors fed 14 wires through the flesh, soft tissue, muscle and bone of both legs to suspend them in circular stretching frames, before breaking them in two places.Over the next nine months Ban's legs were stretched every day as the broken bones healed, eventually boosting her to a height of 1.62m.

The whole operation took a full year and cost a whopping fee of US$30,000. When
i read that article, i can totally understand what makes this young lady take
the risk to go ahead with this operation.

Manolo Blahnik at Hiltons

Attended R's company DND at Hilton Hotel last weekend, the hotel seems really old and dark. It was quite a disappointment, the hotel seems to have Way passed its Hey Days. But still, its exciting to just walk past the various luxury stores, Issey Miyake, Dolce Gabbana,Paul Smith and Manolo Blahnik!! Thats the first time ive ever been that close to a Manolo Blahnik, the cut and design looks simply gorgeous, every single piece scream out class and style. Seriously i dun mind receiving a Manolo Blahnik as a wedding proposal gift.

Just imagine (mind starts daydreaming), if R were to present me with a Manolo, bent down on one knee, holding up the stunning heels with both hands and declare
'You are the Cinderella ive been waiting for, will u marry me?'And after i mumble a yes in my surprise state, he will thrust out a gleaming diamond ring (carats does NOT matter anymore)and slide them onto my fingers.

ME? I will just smily coyly, slip my ankle in and reach up to gave him the longest kiss ever. We will step into the shiny black limousine that has been waiting to bring us to the top restaurant for our memorable dinner.

Aww....hahaha i get so carried away sometimes.....

Im at ECP MacDonald's rite now, surfing n updating my blog using Free Wireless while R hit the books. Im not that broke k, i can still afford my Internet bills, but jus that my Desktop is not giving me a chance. It dieded yet AGAIN!!

Ok, Im GIVING UP. TOTALLY GIVEN UP ON THAT STEWWPIG PC this time.

Turns out the hard disk is totally screwed up this time, and it cost 100 bucks to replace it with a new one (not includin service fees that was est. at 80 bucks!!)
In total my bro & I had already spent over $500 on repairing this DELL PC since the beginning of the year, so no way am i gonna spent close to 200 bucks on this again.

After checking with the IT guy, he said the new hard disk shld let it last for abt a year, but he can't guarantee whether other hardware problems may arise.E.g. the Processer, the chip, the motherboard, graphic card.... Taken into consideration, my hard disk was fine as a dandy bird the last time he was here (And dats just abt 2months or less ago..) He had no idea what happen to it. Neither do I.

So THATS IT. I told him im not gonna save it, im gonna just let it die.

TOOT TOOT TOOT TEEEE....

The IT guy asked me several times if im sure, and this time round, im absolutely sure abt it. Im GIVING UP THIS thing, both my right brain and left brain is telling me to let it go. I can't let a piece of metal...plastic...um..whatever manipulate my life.

So many F**King times, it gave me problems just when i needed it the most.

On a lighter note, oh yes im getting a new comp, im gonna get a new laptop. Waiting for the IT fair now. DoodeeDum...hope i can get some incredible offers, since the economy is kinda still in the slumps rite now, im looking forward to the freebies that they gonna throw in at the fair. R's bro gotten a Sony digicam when he got his lappie.

As u can see, my blog is getting dry with so many words and no pics. Got no camera la, how to take pics. Loan it to my sis for her honeymoon trip and it hasn't appear since, she said they have returned it but they forgotten whom they return it to. Haiz...am i fated to be camera-less. My first Fujifilm camera malfunction after using it for less than 6mths, now my samsung camera is gone too. Its still new, jus used it for less than a year :(

Taking photos with hp is just not that cool lar, and i only took it when i really bo bian. How i wish i got a DSLR or a LUMIX or a Canon Powershot or....aiya say so much also no use, im JOBLESSS.

The mind is so cruel sometimes, or evil i should say.
It starts thinking of so many things it wants and desires for when u r at ur lowest.
Grrr....my wishlist is getting longer and longer....

The corset is really a God-sent thing. My waist goes from 25" to 22" in this incredible stuff, and ur boobs simply gets push all the way up, totally ANTI-GRAVITY Baby~ its something i absolutely clamour for. GSS now, wonder if R is willing to pamper me just one more time....hmm....he is already offering to get me the Burburry Blue Label but this cost just $80 over and probably lesser in these GSS season, a small price to pay for your gal to look like a drop dead babe with perky neh neh and teeny waist. (Anyway, ive already wrote this down, so no running away hor, u r getting me the Burburry Bag k)

im really thankful for having my loved ones ard to support me,i knew they have all been trying to support me discreetly through all the small ways.

Its been real hard closing in on a job interview, but im not gonna give up, in fact im putting in even more effort. Apart from the customising of individual cover letter for each application, ive been to the dental for some good polishing, more face & eye masks, replacing my Laneige skincare with Estee Lauder to achieve even flawless skin (hiak hiak i not shy i know), slapping more body moisturisers. Now i just need to start moving.

Its amazing how my level of depression is generally caused not by my jobless situation but more by the jingling fats hanging around my waistline due to the long hours of sitting in front of the PC.

Its been donkey years since ive last wrote an entry....ok maybe not that long, but i do know only limited vocab so lets not be anal abt it.

Been pretty busy in the past weeks, im treating every job application seriously now, customising almost every cover letter. Im determined to not just hop for any job that comes along, but to wait patiently for the one thats meant for me.

Started working part-time for a friends with a well-known pet food company recently, envy me yeah,i get to see lotsa dogs and cats on a daily basis. The only bad thing is 'Can see CaNNOt Touch' They are stuck in the thousands & thousands of pamphlets i face every day. Shiok eh, can work and bond with friend somemore, heh heh.

Baby must be feeling extremely bored with studying for his exams, he resorts to entertaining himself by doing a painting of his beloved women, ME~~

Farm Town

Busy with planting, harvesting, watering and selling my crops these few days.

This is Baby's Farm, the crops in my farm still growing not nice now, will share next time when its in Full Harvest.

Haha. I am not a farmer, but playing this new game application in FaceBook surely makes farming fun. 'Farm Town' is my latest fave. It gets me obsessed with it Day In Day Out, really gives one a sense of achievement when ur crops are fully ripe and u get to be a Towkay and starts hiring people to harvest your crops.

It may seems like a game, a simple senseless game, but to me it teaches me something, gives me something to reflect. It demonstrates to me the meaning behind the word, you reap what you sow. If i neglect it for a few days, or perhaps a few hours, some if not all my crops will die. The grapes in particularly takes the shortest time of 4 hrs to ripe, it reaps the least coins, and in comparison in dies the fastest too.

Friendship that ripes easily, dies easily.

Another First

I made my first 3G video call to Baby R just now. I had waited for this day for so long, Yippee~~~~ Coz Baby's phone finally Kong Kaw Keow, so he gotten a new phone and new 3G simcard.

ITS AMAZING~~ Damn Cool~~~ So SUD SUD~

Though this technology has been out for eon years but not much people seem to be using them. Its so fun, i get to see R's face, he gets to see mine, its like talking face to face lidat. Its simply fun lar, i get to see where he is, what he's doing, feel like im jus right beside him, Yiiii, so exciting~~~.

Spot somethin scandalous and wanna share with ur best friend, just 3G them, and they can join in the fun. Gossip Gal was into MMS, but we can achieve the same fun with 3G Video.

Had a gathering and happen to have last minute meeting, 3G them to say sorry and get to say Hi to the rest that were there, the sincerity definately beats a boring apologetic SMS or phonecall.

Anyway haha my make-up free face looks horrigible, thank God people dun use 3G extensively these days, or else i gonna have to put on make up the moment i wake up every day.
Imagine, a prospective employer calls u up for an interview using 3G video, and he sees my kungfu panda inspired face, wah confirm tut..tut...tut....

I have checked with M1 before, the talktime for making 3G video calls is the same as making normal voice calls, so it doesn't hurts the pocket at all. Steady man ~

Met up with Dr3amlicious on Monday nite, im so thankful for having friends. While chatting with her, the topic of my upcoming Inteview on tuesday came up, and suddenly i realise how unprepared i was, i had took things for granted, i naively thot that since i have prepared myself before, than i don't need to recap anymore le, i hadn't even went to the company website.

When i realise i couldn't answer promptly the common interview questions she posted to me, i decided that i need to put in more effort in preparing myself. Really thank her for the advice.

Played with her dog CASH for awhile, she has one powerful dog man. The dog small small size but like got motor inside lidat, run run run than the furball will do a super-sonic sky jump on u, than like a motor furball it starts licking all over me, and starts chewing on my long hair like machiam its seaweed. But its simply adorable lar, 10mths old only but takes on the size of 2-3 yrs old dog.

Its a super clever dog, just mention the Chinese word 'Gou' and he will prick up his ears, n knew that u r gossiping abt him. Gu niang dog man, so Ba Gua one. Haha :)

Such an embarassing day, was walking underneath the MRT track and making my way for my interview when i trip over my long pants and fell down on my knees, my palms had a burning pain but no blood spill, many people were nearby but yet no one step forward to lend me a hand, haiz....throw face lar, wear nice nice, make up nice nice, hair nice nice than BAM!!

Interview went well i guess....but im not pinning high hopes, do hope that i can get it though coz if that happens, Baby will be elated coz my workplace will be just one station away from his hse. I really really hope i can get in ne....

Oh well, after interview i went home straight, walk walk walk, think lack of food or perhaps went for too many massages, my heels tangle with my pants AGAIN, so once again EeeYOU Bom!! Fell on my knees, but this time round, my poor palm cannot take it liao, bleed a little. And once again, Singapore failed its kindness movement campaign, no one came forward to lend me a hand.

Think i need apply more mask and buy better make up, kinda weird ma, i look so chio today yet no one came forward to help a pretty lady???? I check on my knees once home, expected, both knees was slightly bruised. My wrist felt a little aching now, think i must have sprain it slightly.

Etude House

My muscles are definately feeling good these days, had so much massage recently. Went JB again on Sat, this time round i went there with a few of my ex-colleagues.
I went to Thai Odyssey again and had my 90mins full body Thai massage, heheh, oh it cost RM89 not RM98 Yippee!!

We ate BBQ sotong, BBQ chicken wings,and very very expensive Black Pepper crab, its really very very expensive that kind, coz we ate at those roadside stalls in JB, and we only realise after the meal, the rate has went up secretly to RM$8 per 100g, so its RM$120 for our 1.5kg Crabs, so our total bill came up to be about RM200 and above.But i still count my blessings la, coz at least my $8/100g crab is still cheaper than our Newton's $8 per prawn. Hiak Hiak :D

Went for a foot reflexology massage yesterday with Miss P, so in total i had about 3 massage in a month, wah..no wonder im feeling so nua these days, my muscles too soft now liao. :)

Went to Etude House, no pics to share :( as my data cable is not working. Its a skincare and make up brand from Korea, the packaging are so nice and the decor of the shop takes on a very girlish,pinkish and flurry look. I bought some nice nail art pens RM10.90 and nail crystals RM4.90 (super cheap man~), can't wait to use them but im still on the look out for nice nail colours to match.

Ate at Dian Xiao Er (Changi Airport Terminal 3)with R and my family for Mother's Day, haiz...Feel bad sometimes, coz i didn't put in more effort in trying to make Mother's Day more special for my Mum, everything seems so routine, feels worse coz i can't afford to buy very expensive stuff to pamper her. haiz...anyway i saw BLUSH having a 50% sale, but cannot buy...haiz...only Airport outlet gt sale, check out Tampines Mall one liao, no sale. Wah liao~~

Need to get work fast, dun wanna be a burden to anyone, not good for my health too, coz im snacking too much at home. :p

Watched midnight movie with R last night at Filmgarde ILUMA, the place reminds me of Cathay but think Cathay is still better, they got more food.

Watched Wolverine, its a great show, wahHHH i simply lurrve Hugh Jackman's body, its just so so Woo-Hoo~ Sexy...think he is simply gorgeous lar, though the plot and visuals were equally fantastic, i spent half my time oogling at his strong arms and intense glare. Wolverine is just so romantic and manly, wah i also willing to die for him man.

Check out those arms man, if MY man has those arms hor, i will hug it like koala bear every day lor.

Why? Why mus there be such shameful and disgusting bitches around, they threw the face of Internet Savvy women, i really really look down on such cheap gals, definately dun have proper upbringing. Cheap slut.

Why am i saying all this?

Becoz of Show, my favourite singer Show Luo Zhi Xiang a.k.a Xiao Zhu.

Recently he was hit by this awful scandal which most would have known by now.

Show started an online relationship with this gal whom he thought is serious about him and something could have work out, but according to Lianhe Wanbao, he pulled out of the relationship 3mths later when the gal started to ask Show to pull strings to let her enter the entertainment industry.

Soon after, this despicable gal (really had the nerve, people like her just never gave up on anythin just to get that 5mins of Fame) approached Taiwan media with screenshots of topless Xiao Zhu and their 16 pages long conversation and uploaded the pics on her blog. And even claimed that Show boasted on how good he is at doing that. Trying to imply that Xiao Zhu is an online lover that cheat on people's feelings. She claimed they 'break off' becoz she 'discovered' that Xiao Zhu has a lot of hot babes on his friends list and realised how stupid she is to think that Xiao Zhu wants to be serious with her.

Ok ok, why i defend Xiao Zhu is becoz

1) Xiao Zhu is a star, hello~~~ a star leh, God knows how many model friends and starlet friends he had, he is the best friend of Jolin Tsai leh, is that not obvious~~ She think she is so pretty, Xiao Zhu after knowing her than he must delete all the hot babes on his friends list becoz of her. (Roll eyes*)

2) Xiao Zhu has never tried to portray himself as a virgin innocent boy and as a matter of fact, i believe most fans like me would have already known he is known to cracking corny jokes on his entertainment shows. Just because Xiao Zhu is topless doesn't means anythin what, dun tell me her father never walk ard the hse topless during summer meh, ridiculous man.

3) Anyway, to only have 16 pages of msn log when they have been chatting for 3 months, it only shows that they do not have much in depth conversation, i chat with friend on msn, 3 weeks already can have 20 pages liao lor. And to save 5 screen shots of him on diff occasion means she is either sex-deprived and need the pictures for her own 'pleasure' or she is some kind of she-Edison.

I notice that Xiao Zhu has been looking quite dejected when on his show Entertainment 100%, even Xiao Gui on several occasion had to pause and change topic. Heart break lor, its already not easy ba to be popular stars like them, its hard for them to start a relationship liao, somemore he tried and yet end up being made used.

My comments, this gal better not come to Singapore, i will confirm go up and spit saliva and threw dung at her dog face one lor, shameless bitch that uses their looks and body to seduce people just to get fame, she is obviously the kind that will be very willingly to sleep with any directors or maybe producers just to get famous. She should just go act porn lar, since she like to sexpose and openly claim that she had cybersex with Show(which he denied), this kind of thing still can openly anyhow say. How would her parents feel man.....

Hmm... heheh a continuation of my weekend activities.

I played mahjong leh, heh heh so happy~~ La la la, played at friend's ye ye funeral wake from midnight till about 4 plus in the morning, super tired, but its worth it. Coz its so funny, i mean I'M so funny lar.

Can u imagine, i play 20cts/40cts, max 5 tai. and just 1.5 round only leh, we spent 3 hours plus and i lost almost $30 dollars, super lousy man. I was on a 'Tao Hua Jie' , every single time i got 'flower' on my tiles, i confirm lose one or i will hit n give people hu, somemore i always hit n give the ones that got 4-5 tai, i lousy man... i thot i never gonna hu liao than i finally come to a round i got totally no flower or animal, that round i won.

So the whole night goes like this, i got flower got animal=other people HU Lar~, no flower no animal= I, Gao lar. Yesh.

I think hor i mus follow tv liao, buy 1 set of mahjong tiles, than sayang and kiss the flower n animals every day, so they wun 'zuo dui' with me.

Went JB for a couple of hours with Bert, we forsake Sentosa coz i wa dying for a good massage, we drove in coz couldn't find suitable parking lots at Woodlands leh somemore i need to rush back for a job interview. The check point changed liao than resulted in us getting lost for an hour. We wanted to go City Square, which was just at the door step of the M'sia check point, but with the new check point and with the twist and turn roads in M'sia, it was so confusing.

We went to Thai Odyssey on the 4th level, its inside this area called 'Inner city', 60 mins massage only RM78, 90 mins RM 98. We were running out of time so we took the 60 mins one, it was pretty good, though it was a Thai traditional massage, they do not have those acrobatic stunts that leaves u stun and in shock. So shiok lar, somemore can up to three person in the same room, so its good for couples or friends to go together.

Anyway, it was quite a pity for Baby lar, he take a full day leave, than in the end we spend only like a couple of hours only than i had to rush to my job interview and rush to meet my ex-colleague for my fare well at Marche n St James.

So Sorry Baby, but ur sacrifice is worth it one, coz in exchange i will give u freedom this month k, i will bo-chap u for this month and let u go study in peace for ur exams. But of course, once exam ends, U R MINE~~~ Wa HA HA HA HA~~~~

Im feeling so tired mentally and physically, but still wish to blog it all down, burnt my entire weekend but still its pretty fulfilling and draining. Yes, i repeat, mentally & physically.

For some irritating reason, i can't help but at certain moments do felt that i can understands how R feels. R once told me, he felt equally draining, with his hectic work and studies and plus the need to juggle between spending time with me and his mum.

Went Marche at Vivo city, ate a lot, really alot, all those at the table can vouch for me. Yea its really enjoying when u ate at such places with a big group and everyone shared their food. Coz i get to taste many different dishes. Yummy Yum.

Went St James after that, this is definately the first time in my life i club hop so many times in a night, my God, other than Belini and Bar None i entered all. Man, its tiring. Enjoyed Powerhouse the most coz of the high dance platform. Haiz... but my low alcohol tolerance is a real party-pooper, i down in total just half a beer, half a glass of vodka (with iced) and 1/4 glass of martel mixed i think, that pathetic amount i cannot make it already, i look down on myself man, *Pui*

Enjoyed the live performance, beforehand i had always have this impression that they gonna look like some kind of old fogies night club pattern but hey no, this is some stuff alrite. Pure entertainment!

Went to helped out at my bro-in-law's wedding exhibit booth at Bugis iLuma. That place hmm...not as interesting as i had perceived but as expected, there was a lot of people there, especially on Friday. Most people leave with empty hands so i think, hmm...Tampines 1 i said 3 months crowd will die off rite, i think iLuma can last 4 months. Not becoz it is more interesting or more happening, but simply becoz Bugis is no 1, its prime area, and no 2, most people dun even know its opened, so its takes 1-2 months for the whole of Singapore to acknowledge its existence and another 2 months to spare time out of their busy schedule to check it out.

Only 3 shops caught my attention, Coffee Bean (Oh~~ falling in love with their Hot Double Chocolate with marshmallow), Nichii(reminds me of Tangs), and Filmgarde(its a cinema) other than that its shop arrays is similar to The Cathay. But the way the mall escalators are placed is realy confusing. But they have this amazing long escalators that goes from like level 2 all the way up to level 5, and coz its vertically across, its really really long. Oh man, if someone were to trip and tumble down from this, confirm plus guarantee kong ka keow one.

Helping out is so tiring, i stand for like near to 8 hours straight looking like a blur cok, my eyes somemore like turn cok-eye liao from watching people wheezing past me. Look like a total cok face lor, no wonder R no look at me in the face much just now, think i turn him off.

And finally, the wedding rehearsal. I didn't really do much, just practise some simple march-in timing and thats it, but im happy to be there, coz upon entering, i simply stand in awe of the church building decorations and fixtures. Its so...so...Catholic. I like Churches like this, i studied in a Catholic kindergarten for a year when i was 5, but in my memory my Catholic school was nothing compared to this place. Church of Immaculate Heart.

Ate with R and his mum n sis again, like bonding session like this, no reason y, just like it.
Go to sleep lor, need to jiayou tml. The interview cmi, ask me be sales gal, WT.......

Another Sweet Move

Hee, did something special for Baby R today.

Dunno y i did it, but just feel like doing something to encourage him in his studies.
I brewed herbal soup and made tea leaf eggs for him.
Haha, it may not seem to be very 'liao bu qi', but i am very sure not many gals
out there will take the initiative to out of the blue do such things lor.
I spent many hours monitoring the soup and my eggs ley~
It may seems like a small thing and yes i could have bought them instead, quality more assured. But i really preferred to have them DIY, coz i want him to be able to feel my XIN YI when he is drinking them. If they dun taste good, i will keep doing until i am good at it. :)

All it takes is a few pieces of star anise, cinnamon, dark & light soya sauce, black tea bags for my Tea Leaf Eggs. The smell was heavenly while i was boiling the eggs in the concoction, it makes me feel hungry myself, haha, i believe i have made the neighbours hunger for tea leaf eggs too, ha.

God's protection

Was feeling disappointed this afternoon, actually i meant to say, devastated, but 5 minutes later i am back online doing what i need to do. Nothing can beats me down, R is right, perhaps it really is God's way of protecting me.

I wouldn't have gotten the courage to tender my resignation, wouldn't have move on, so now i will smile and look onto what's next. Every single day gonna be an exciting day. Pray for me. :)

Whew, i manage to finish 33 episodes of the HKG drama serial 'The Gem of Life' in less than a week. I was still worried that i may not be able to finish all 83 episodes by end of THIS week, but i guess the problem all solve now.

GOIN TO MARCHE FOR MY FAREWELL DINNER THIS THUR & MY FRIEND SIDNEY's WEDDING REHEARSAL THIS SUNDAY!!! So ExCITed!!!~~

I so so look forward to both events, and im so glad that Sidney included me in her special moments. Just hope that the 27 dresses story don't falls on me, cause i seem to be involve in quite a number of friend's wedding in recent years.

Kids

Its been so long since i gave myself a break, haha, spent many hours doing the laundry, putting on mask, watchin HKG dramas, spending many hours in bed. Doing what i love to do, having what u called quality time.

Hmm..not much stories abt myself to share, but i did came across this irritatin thing last friday.

I admit i dun dislike kids, in actual fact i do like them, but of course this does not cover kids that are fat, ugly and has disgusting attitude and poor hygiene practice.

I was in the mrt heading towards R's place when three Malay kids in religious school uniform boarded the train. As the both seats beside me was empty, two of them sat down and i was sandwiched in the middle, and the one seated on my right actually had the nerve to try to get rid of me so that the friend can take over my seat.

Less than a minute after he sat down, he started makin loud clucking sounds into my ears, and if thats not enough, he startin chantin weird sounds too, when i feign ignorance of his behaviour, he startin playing with his hat and crashin into my sides repeatedly and without a word of apology!

I gave him my deadly stare and that ended everything. But omg, another 3 Malay kids wearing the same uniform entered the train, within minutes later, the oldest among which shld be ard 9-10 years of age started jumping and snatchin these Singnet brochures that were hang on the horizontal hand bars and the 2 small kids beside him whom were abt 6-7 yrs of age start doin the same.

But as there were really tiny, the brochures were simply out of reach for the, as i watch them nearly stumble and fall several times, as the train was not packed, there was plenty room for them to jump ard, i overhead these 3 indian gals seated opposite me commentin how cute there were. One Malay couple even help the young gal took down 1 brochure.

I was aghast! Dun these adults have brains~

The young gal started climbin on the chairs and tried to reach for the bars by huggin the side vertical hand bars and THE ADULTS ACTUALLY MOVE ASIDE FOR HER. Can't take it anymore, i stopped the oldest kid and asked him to stop whatever they r doing as someone could get hurt. And should they not stop, im gonna call their religious teachers.

I dunno whats the problem with some people nowadays, if u see a possible accident happening, how could you not try to prevent it? Should they fall and hurt themselves badly, i can already imagine what these hypocrites gonna say, "Oh it all happen so fast, there was nothin anyone could have done', it may seem like a small matter, but people nowadays seem to lack initiative in everything.

Irreplaceable

Finally made the move. I shall be sayin my Goodbyes by tml noon. Gonna miss and be miss by many. Sobz.

God truly moves at a time when i least expected it. After attending several disappointing interviews a few months back, i thot i m gonna have to just resign to fate and just seat and wait,
sometimes i start doubting could i be doom to stay under the sleeve of a poor leadership but God remembers me, im so happy~

Good things happen one after another, and everything kinda overwhelms me, all these good news brings me to shame. Im sorry Lord, i shouldn't have doubt.

I was transferred to a new asst manager early last month, and with God's blessing, my manager gave birth to a lovely gal and thus had to handover this overseas event in Myanmar to my new manager.

Well as a result, i was given the opportunity to travel to Myanmar!! For the first time since my 1.5 years in the company, i felt i was alive in the department. Shortly after, i receive good news yet again, i was offered a position at HFF. I was indeed thrill, coz HFF was one of the best among the companies i have applied for.

But God's flow of blessing doesn't ends for me, i was offered another attractive position at my bro-in-law's new company. Both is simply to hard to resist. Now, nothin seems describe the great thanks i have for my Lord Jesus Christ.

In my heart, i knew that all this doesn't comes by chance nor does it comes becoz im good with interview skills or social skills, it comes through great plans which my Lord has set for me. I do not know what lies ahead, every job has it difficulties and challenge, but having been through the dark valleys, i have rested enough and i will face new challenges with bravery and strength.

Looking back now at the many people im gonna left behind, i felt great sadness inside me. This department used to be what was constructed as the dream job in my mind. But dreams do not last forever, and in this imperfect world, i experience the world's weirdest people.

I have always thot that if a person is ugly at least im sure they will have a beautiful personality, but apparently i was wrong. Im jus too naive.

There ARE people out there that is ugly outside and inside. People who tries to put on a false front and tries to pretend to be nice every single day. We need to understand that Sometimes people who backstab may not necessarily look like back-stabbers.

In most times, we judge based on the first impression, the first instints that
we felt is right. But i learnt, that sometimes people whom gave u the worst
impression may end up be your very best friend at the end of the day.

Yet, sometimes it is people whom put on a nice front, initiates friendly conversation with you, gave u all the inside stories voluntarily, these are the people we should be wary of.

The equation can be quite simple, girls with great personality and genuine smile, irregardless of ur looks, generates great vibes and naturally has lotsa friends and not to mention dates.

As for the opposite of such gals, u generally sees them with little or no friends. Coz they naturally project negative vibes.

Sometimes i wonder, if u work late, as in really really late every single day,
does it means u r really really hardworking or does it means u r really really
inefficient?

If every single people in the company are able to finish
their work by end day and OT perhaps occasionally except u, does this says
something?

No one is irreplaceable, i knew this since i finish O'levels, perhaps they dun teach this in University, or perhaps u were too busy than to remember this.

Im sick, so sick, argh....

Down with a painful sore throat and flu on monday, took mc. People take medicine will recover how come i like take poison lidat, my flu just grew worse one..arghh..sick...my voice is so rough now.

Went to Uniqlo on monday, coz my company clinic is located in Tampines 1, happening rite, hahaha.

Uniqlo is over-rated lar, its definately over-rated. The clothes there are a cross-over between Giordano and Cotton-on, and the price are so-so only. From what ive heard, its from Japan, and its well-known for their affordable but fashionable wear. But the name seems so Singaporean to me leh, Uniqlo = Unique Lor, its our trademark slang. Hmm...maybe we have foreign Singapore talent hidden in Japan. Next time i shall open my own store and named it 'Happenin Ride' :)

But i notice a new trend in tampines lately, the uniqlo trend. Everyone that has been to Tampines 1, simply has to leave with a Uniqlo plastic bag in their hands. Its like an official symbol of 'I HAVE BEEN THERE' And never to be one that is behind the trend, i march in and got myself something too, haha.

I bought my terry cloth pants at Uniqlo, yeah!! So im all ready for my next hip hop dance, Rock on Baby~

As for movies, i eventually decided on 'Handsome Suit', its a great show, no teary moments, but it really boost the morale of ugly people. Haha i love the bus-part, tempt me to throw disgusting look at the man that bump into me on the bus last night, hehehe.

I simply love the character Reika (Mayumi Sada) in Handsome suit, she is oh so gorgeous and cool, Hiroko is the typical sweet japanese girl, but Reika exudes charm and feminine power.
I find it pretty unfair that Mayumi doesn't gets to grace the posters of handsome suit, with those good looks and great acting, she deserve to have her name mention more. Simply fsll in love with those misty eyes and sharp nose. If only i have that kinda nose Oh Gosh!!!

Pouring Water over this small jade buddha, which is not obvious from this picture. My agent told me that if we pour the same number of times as our age we will be greatly blessed. But we never la, we just pour a few times for fun than we walk away liao. Hand very tired leh plus the weather so hot.


This buddha is supposedly specially for people whom are born on Thursday. And yes u r right. I am a Thursday Baby!! Dunno whats so special, but its just fun lor. There have 7 different buddha, so Myanmar people will come and pray at their respective buddha and seek blessings lor. Interesting isn't it.

Hip Hop yeah

Went for a beginner hip hop class with Alyssa today! Yeah, i finally got people accompany me go dance class liao~~ Hee, though i dun mind going classes alone, but having company sure beats going alone.

Class was tough, but not as tough as expected and it was pretty enjoyable. Look forward to going for more classes in future. I went to Oschool at Bencoolen street. Well well, it wasn't easy gettin there. I didn't know the school has change location so we spent quite sometime looking for it.

Beginner class cost just $12! Its so so affordable.

Need to get myself some nice terry cloth pants soon, my moves look so weird in leggings. I look so aerobics, i think i forever look aerobics lor, yucks.

Went shopping with Alyssa after that, wah..finally.. coz our shopping trip seems to have postpone so many times..paiseh man... Bugis new shopping centre Ilumna is open!! So has Tampines 1!!

Went Tampines 1 yesterday with Baby, it was so so crowded, its crazy. Several security was deployed for crowd control at the escalators, as i siad, its crazy man. There were throngs of people all around the mall, but as expected, most are out window-shopping.

I wanted to go Uniqlo, but the queue to enter was so so long, wah lau, its crazy lor. But i already told Baby my prediction. I give it 3 months, and the crowd will die away. ViVocity used to be crowded but look at it now.

Hmm...there are so many new shopping centres emerging, but why aren't the shops giving better price and discounts. Why doesn't the word economy of scale gets to them? So, there are more Dorothy Perkins, TopShop and Sasa outlets in Singapore, but the prices are still high. Alyssa and i were at a shop in Bugis, i think its called, I love apple, nice hip necklace that looks very 77th Street cost $43 and above. T-shirts cost $50 over dollars and above.

No wonder banks are collapsing. People all withdraw money to go buy t-shirts liao lor.

Look forward to watching movies with Baby later, think we really need that. But im caught in between watching Handsome suit, The unborn and Confessions of a shopaholic.

Think we need some comedy to cool the tension between us right now. But i like thriller leh, very long no watch thriller shows in movies lidat, than whole world seems to have already watch shopaholic except me. How.....

I dunno why im like this, i dislike myself like this. I dislike the fact that you don't like me like this. Its 3:30am in the morning and i still can't get myself to sleep. All thanks to those stupid photos. Why must people be so insensitive.

Myanmar

I AM BACK FROM MYANMAR!! Minkalavar~

Hahaha finally back since tuesday night. Taking into consideration the fact that we had no personal shopping time, the entire trip was still still incredible. Thanks to the great company of my manager and my wonderful Myanmar agents, i received great hospitality there. Im so lousy at words, but all i can say is, though its tiring, its still great. We eat at great restaurants and rested at high-class hotels, enjoyed chatting cracking jokes with the agents whom did not make us feel like we are trying to PR with each other.

I had great food at every single meal, though intercontinental breakfast at my hotel gets boring after the 2nd day, but still, it beats drinking packet milo and Gardenia bread. I had Thai food, Japanese Food, Myanmar food and even Singapore food!!

The event was successfully carried out, though some areas was unfortunately left out, but it makes me learnt from my mistakes, I learnt to not be dependable on others and the importance of follow-up, to describe it better, i learn the importance of SI CHAN LAN DA. Which is a skill that i have not master but im gonna start learning.

Sometimes, i think i nua too long already, no matter how many stuff i done in a day, when i lay on bed at night, i still feel a voice telling me inside, Jessica u can do better and faster~. Yeah, i need to oil my engines man. Need to buck up even more and be ven more alert. Opportunity knocks just once baby.

Really Thank God and certain people for the opportunity granted to me. Having been involved in this event, i am now confident to take on similar events again. Should i be involved in another event again, i'm gonna be even more careful and take extra attention to all the nitty gritty stuff involved in event preparation, such as good time management and soul-chasing skills.


(soul-chasing; i chase my manager for approval, she chase my boss for approval, my boss will try to find some scapegoat to avoid giving us early approval, than i will chase my manager for approval than she will..........)
